Exploring nature through art

I’m a Canadian landscape and wildlife artist based in Alberta, Canada. I work in mainly in oils, soft pastels and oil pastels. I paint local scenes like the Canadian Rockies as well as desert and coastal scenery encountered in my travels.

I spent many years working as a professional photographer and created a large archive of landscape and wildlife images, some of which I use as references for my paintings. I’ve always been especially drawn to desert landscapes, even while living near the mountains. My work explores the beauty of these landscapes and the wildlife I’ve encountered within.
