Fall is a beautiful time to get married in the mountains, so I was thrilled to shoot Christina and Edward’s wedding last month in Banff. This wedding was a joy to shoot, and when you look at the photos you’ll see why. Great scenery, wonderful people, and some really creative special touches from the bride.
The day started with hair and makeup at Rapunzel’s spa in Canmore, followed by getting ready shots at the Juniper Hotel in Banff. The ceremony was held on the terrace of the hotel, with Mt Rundle and Vermillion Lakes forming the perfect backdrop.
After the ceremony we went to nearby Vermillion Lakes for some family and bridal portraits. Later there was a casual drinks session at the hotel with board games (that I’m pretty sure were never opened), followed by the reception dinner.
From the 8 hours of coverage there were 700 final images, so choosing just a sample to tell the story was a challenging task, but here you are: 80 images to tell the story of Tina and Ed’s amazing wedding day. Enjoy!
