Sanja and Ryan met last year at a party just a couple of months after Sanja came to Canada, and knew it was meant to be. Fast forward a few months and they were planning a small outdoor wedding in Banff. I was thrilled when they got in touch and booked me that very afternoon. Forward again to their wedding day, and I arrived at the Banff Inn for Sanja’s getting ready shots. Seven people in one hotel room, and somehow we didn’t bump into each other!
The ceremony was held in Cascade Gardens. This couple was smart – prepared with umbrellas for everyone (you just never know in the mountains), but they didn’t need them. The weather was perfect, the scenery was stunning and everything ran smoothly. A perfect day all round. Congratulations Sanja and Ryan!
This cheeky squirrel kept trying to drag away the bouquet while I was photographing it! I wasn’t successful at an attempt to photograph the thievery because I had to keep stopping to rescue the flowers.
