Laura and Simon came all the way from Montreal to get married at Camp Cadicasu in Kananaskis Country. I wasn’t sure what to expect from a wedding in a youth camp, but I soon discovered there were some really fun and interesting aspects to photographing at this location – the first being the choice of transportation to get from the lodge to the tent site! The camp had some photogenic wooden buildings which made great rustic backdrops for bridal portraits, and we also went to a couple of nearby scenic locations I had chosen on a previous scouting mission. Despite the heat, Laura remained cool and calm throughout. There were some really nice details like fresh herbs and stunning flowers, and a string quartet and cute little lamps for the ceremony. The guests received gorgeous ceramic bowls as wedding favours. But enough of me describing how it all looked, check it out for yourself.
