In my last post, I documented the sights and sounds of the first day of the Ice Magic Festival at Lake Louise. Yesterday I went back to see the completed ice sculptures, something I didn’t get a chance to do last year. I had been waiting all week for good weather, but with no end to the snow in sight, I decided not to wait any longer. With lens hood firmly in place, I set out to capture the finished sculptures. I took a few shots during the afternoon, but ice sculptures always photograph better at dusk, so I hung around until it got dark so that I could do them justice.
Here are the photos, and if you are able to get out there to see this event in person, I highly recommend it.
