Kat and Dan met in rather unfortunate circumstances, a story they prefer not to tell. Let’s just say that Dan is an avid dirt biker and managed to break his leg twice in ten weeks, which led him to Kat. They love the outdoors and the mountains, so Jasper was the perfect place to do their engagement photos. We scheduled the session for the evening for nice lighting, but the weather was rainy all day. Luckily the rain eased off and the conditions made for a lovely mood in the images. I much prefer to shoot in cloudy weather anyway, so I was in my elemement. We were treated to a bit of colour at sunset which made for beautiful photos. I love how the images turned out – every shoot is a new adventure.
