Ben’s parents came from Calgary for a newborn session and particularly wanted outdoor photos so I booked them into a shorter session hoping we could do just a short series of outdoor images if it was warm enough. In Alberta we are at the mercy of the weather so outdoor newborn photos are not possible for most of the year. It was a little cool and windy so I was only able to settle him for a few minutes, enough for a cute basket shot with a fox hat. We opted to do the rest of the session in the studio but he was unsettled so we tried again a few days later. We matched the colours to his nursery decor with grey and mint green.
