This session had to be kept a secret until Alexis was born, as it was a gift from her grandparents! After reading that her mamma liked the idea of a nest, and pinks and creams, I came up with a peaches and cream colour scheme with dark pink sand roving for the nest on the new wood floor, and light pink and peachy colours with cream for the blanket poses. I also made a felted hat for her, after her grandma gave me a lesson 🙂 After the family photos and a few with her little brother Theo, it was time for Alexis to be the star. She loved cuddling in my arms and it’s always so hard to put down a sleeping baby to take the photos, but we managed! And she was a trooper until she decided it was time to be awake for a while, so we wrapped her up, she gave us the biggest ‘smile’ I’ve ever seen, then we finished up with capturing her tiny fingers and toes. Wrapping her fingers around mum’s finger shows just how tiny her little hand is!
These are my favourite photos from the session, enjoy and as always if you like them leave a comment so she knows she has fans!
