Calgary newborn photography – Taylor

Although I’ve had to close down my photography business due to illness, I couldn’t say no when a friend of mine messaged me that she was pregnant and would I do her newborn photos? I was about to sell all my props and clear out the studio, but I put it on hold and waited six or so months for her to have her baby boy, just so I could have a play with him and finally do a couple of setups I’d been wanting to do forever, namely Harry Potter, and a little fisherman on a pier. Taylor was such a good baby boy and totally adorable, and he rocked his photo shoot like a champ. If he isn’t the cutest version of Harry Potter you ever saw, I don’t know what is.

I had plenty of help, as his grandma assisted with anything I might need and then some, while his mom rested up on the couch. Taylor’s mom is a photographer too and she took lovely photos of me and my dog Willow last fall, and in return I photographed baby Taylor. I am pretty sure Taylor behaved much better than my dog did, but since my body lacks anything close to normal energy levels, I guess it all evens out.

So this is it, the final shoot, and I think it was a good one, I hope you’ll agree!
