Lauren and Clint are an amazing adventurous couple who decided on a small winter mountain wedding at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. This hotel is iconic in the town of Banff, due to its history and sheer beauty. It also provides plenty of indoor shooting opportunities when the weather is cold outside!
A morning ceremony allowed time for portraits followed by a sleigh ride in the afternoon, which is a great way for the guests to take in the scenery. I used a second shooter for this wedding and she was a huge help photographing the guys getting ready and getting some additional images throughout the day.
This is Lauren and Clint’s wedding story.
How did you meet?
We originally met at Race City Speedway when it was still open. Clint was racing his car. He had his helmet on, and our meeting was very brief. I didn’t recognize him at a party a few weeks later but we hit it off instantly. Later in the evening, I saw his car and knew right away that he was the guy I’d met a few weeks earlier at the track.
When did you know he/she was the one?
What was your wedding theme and why?
Favourite moment on your wedding day
Lauren: My favourite moment was the ceremony. Having the most important people in our lives there to share in our sweet romantic moment was so special to me.
Clint: My favourite moment of the day was after dinner, the celebrations held in the bride & groom’s room. The party went well into the wee hours.
