Eric and Nikita chose the Delta Lodge at Kananaskis for their big day, surrounded by mountains and perfect weather. Their elegant, rustic theme looked wonderful but of course Nikita in her stunning gown stole the show.
Their story
How did you meet?
Windsor, Ontario, in high school. Grade 10. We didn’t talk much in high school. We started to talk and hang out more when we were about 18 years old.
When did you know he/she was the one?
Eric: I knew she was the one when I moved to Calgary to be with her.
Nikita: I knew he was mine forever when he gave me his debit card pin 🙂 Oh, and when he dropped his entire life in Windsor & moved to Calgary for me!
What was your wedding theme and why?
Rustic outdoorsy because we love the outdoors & rustic is perfect for out west living.
Favourite moment on your wedding day
Eric: Nikita walking down the aisle. I couldn’t help myself but cry, she looked so beautiful as always.
Nikita: when I was saying my vows to Eric. & him whipping away my tears. Also, looking around the room while doing my speech & seeing all the love we are surrounded with. 105 people there, travelled far, just to share our special day my favourite moment being able to celebrate with them all.
